The suggestions on this website refer to travels with low-medium budget. If you are used to comfortable travels and all comforts hotels, this is not the right place. Neither it is in case you are used to sleeping in stations and not taking a shower for a month! Saving is ok, but we are still talking about holidays!

When we decide to visit a country, we always think that maybe we wont have time to visit it again in the future, consequently, we try to see as much as possible. That's why we plan every transfer, calculating days of travelling, the visit ones and the cultural exchange ones(read: evenings out i pubs...)

Transports: where possible we fly Low Cost. Usually it requires more stops and some hours in airports. Finding the best flight usually takes some days to search on several websites and cross-check among various companies.

Where to stay: some places have not yet known mass tourism, therefore they let you leave without advance booking and find something on the place. For other destinations it is better to book before departure.

Food: we usually try local cooking traditions, and avoid looking for spaghetti abroad...

Language: the best part of a travel is cultural exchange. But it is necessary to find a common language. Not always English is sufficient. Before leaving I always try to study at least pronounces of the local language: if you ask a information and pronounce the name of the place you're looking for in the wrong way, the risk is to go to the opposite side! Two words are fundamental in my dictionary: “Please” and “Thanks”. They will always help you to have aid in case of unexpected difficulties!
